The new RunFestRun 2020 will be announced shortly.

Our Festival Policy

Please observe our festival policy below:

Please do NOT bring any of the following onto any part of the RunFestRun site, including car parks and campsites: glass bottles, disposable BBQs, open fires, Chinese lanterns, illegal substances of any kind, dogs except Assistance Dogs.

Please do NOT bring any alcohol onto the festival site, a small quantity may be brought into the campsites.

We reserve the right to refuse admission or to evict any person from RunFestRun for drunkenness, unruly behaviour or for breaking any of these conditions.

No under 18s will be admitted without a responsible adult.

We will be taking photographs and filming this event.  By entering the event you consent to your image being used in any future RunFestRun promotion.  If you do not wish your image to be used please go the Organisers Office or speak to the photographer/camera team at the time.

We’re sorry if any of your personal property is lost or damaged whilst at RunFestRun. Neither the organisers or venue owner can be held responsible.

Is the event suitable for small children?

Many young children enjoy festivals - some of them enjoying live music for the first time on the shoulders of their parents. However, there are some precautions you may wish to take to ensure that it is an enjoyable experience for you all.

There will be live music on each day of the event. If you are intent on watching from close quarters we would recommend using ear protection on children for their own comfort. Likewise it is not recommended that young children get too close to the sound systems for the main stage.

The music each evening will go on until 10pm or 11pm. You should use your judgement and knowledge of your children to determine whether they, and therefore you, will find this enjoyable or not.

Are dogs allowed at RunFestRun?

For hygiene and safety reasons ONLY registered guide dogs will be allowed in any part of RunFestRun, including the campsite. Dogs cannot be left in vehicles or caravans at any time. Visitors attempting to bring a dog (other than assistance dogs) onto the campsite or festival site will be turned away and no ticket refunds will be available.

Can I volunteer at RunFestRun?

Volunteering is a great opportunity to work with the RunFestRun team and understand how the event operates. It’s also a great way to enjoy the festival and work alongside friends and family.

If you would like to apply to be a volunteer please complete the volunteer application form

RunFestRun encourages applications from deaf and disabled people. Assistance will be offered to those who wish to apply.

Please note, you must be over 18 years of age to apply.

Ticket Information

What's included and prices

Your weekend ticket includes access to the RunFestRun campsite and festival site on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Your day tickets allows you access to the festival site on your chosen day but not the campsite. The festival will open at 2pm on Friday afternoon with access to the campsite from 12pm. Your ticket includes car parking; however, cars are not permitted next to your tent and will be located in the car park nearby. The campsite has toilets, showers and catering outlets for food, coffee and soft drinks.

We’re pleased to note that our entire campsite is family friendly - no areas are particularly noisy and all areas have a curfew and hold the same rules.

Glamping options are available to purchase as an add-on to your ticket.

Please note: if you would like to bring a campervan/caravan/trailer tent/sleep-in vehicle you MUST purchase a permit.

Ticket prices can be found on our ticket information page.

Can I refund/exchange my ticket?

Please note we do not offer any refunds or exchanges on tickets.

However, we do understand circumstances change and there are many RunFestRun fans who might have other commitments and would like to swap their tickets with other visitors. In this instance, we recommend using our Social Networking sites - Twitter and Facebook - to link up with other fans looking to exchange/purchase tickets. Please contact us on info@runfestrun.co.uk so we can deal with this on a case by case basis.

Surface types

Windsor Great Park has a mix of compacted gravel, grassy tracks and tarmac pathways.

We recommend a strong pair of running shoes suitable for multiple terrains. No map, compass or any other method of navigation is required.

Buggies and All Terrain Wheelchairs

Buggies and/or wheelchairs with an all-terrain and/or off-road capability are welcome to take part in the 2.5km and 5km routes. For safety reasons you will be asked to start at the back. The 10km and half marathon routes are not ideal for buggies and all terrain wheelchairs but if you wish to have a go, please let us know.

The Road Race is a 3km route suitable for wheelchair users and runners with buggies that do not have all-terrain and/or off-road capability.

Chip timing

The use of chip timing will be used to record and determine results for all Saturday races. Chips will be embedded in your running number which you will need to pin to your t-shirt.

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at this event, except for assistance dogs. No dogs will be allowed on any of the running courses.

All routes will have checkpoints which will be marked on the route maps. These will be emailed to you and available on the website two weeks before the festival.

Checkpoints will offer water and a variety of basic nutrition. These should be treated as a complement to the personal supplies you bring.

Listening to music is permitted while running on the courses, but headphones must not be worn within the first km or on the approach to checkpoints. We advise not having your earphones in while going through the festival site, as you’ll miss out on everyone cheering you on!

Refreshments will be made available to purchase via food vendors and a licensed bar. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink into the campsite but not into the festival site.

Toilets and showers

Don’t panic, plenty of showers and toilets will be provided. Both weekend and day ticket holders will have access to the showers and changing facilities. The showers will be available for the duration of the festival.

Every participant will receive a medal free of charge.

A race t-shirt is included with weekend, Saturday and Sunday adult and child (6-17) tickets and will be available from race registration. Please note that we will do our best to allocate sizes, but we cannot guarantee all sizes will be available.

Please note that a condition of entering RunFestRun is that photographs may be used in the future by RunFestRun for marketing purposes.

We will be working with professional photographers to capture photographs of all race participants which will be linked to your race number.

There is no specific charity associated with RunFestRun. You are more than welcome to fundraise for a charity of your choice.

Water Stations

There will be water stations at different points across each route, which will be marked out on the onsite maps of the Festival.

Smoking policy

Smoking is not allowed in any of the marquees or structures. Visitors who wish to smoke are asked to respect others by refraining from smoking in busy areas, around children or around food.

Lost property

Any enquiries about lost property should be made at the Organisers Office. We endeavour to reunite all lost property with its owners after the festival, so please email info@runfestrun.com with details of the item lost once you return home from the festival.

Are we allowed to bring picnics and chairs?

We do not allow picnics to be brought in to the festival. Folding chairs can be brought in and set up beyond the marked out ‘standing only’ area in front of the stage.  Please note, our policy is one chair per person and these chairs must be foldable.

We do not allow gazebos, laysacs, windbreakers or tents. Structures like these block the view of the stage for other RunFestRunners, so please be considerate of your fellow festival goers when setting up your area for the evening and don’t take up too much space!

Cash Machines

Most caterers and vendors will take card. However, we will have cash machines on site just in case.
